Danny is the heart of Temkin. He is an astute businessman who has won over the industry with his big heart and great sense of humor. He is also known for his customer service, friendliness, and determination.

Danny’s education came from the “school of hard knocks,” and his best teacher was “Mrs. Experience.” In 2000, he was named Entrepreneur of the Year for the State of Utah in the field of Industrial and Consumer Product Manufacturing. In 2008, the Produce Marketing Association named Danny the Floral Marketer of the Year. However, he considers his greatest accomplishment to be his family.

DANNY TEMKIN moved to the United States from Israel in 1976, eager to take advantage of all the opportunities he saw around him. From a small corner of Los Angeles’ Fresh Flower Market, Danny started selling orders of polypropylene, a cost effective alternative to expensive cellophane packaging. In 1993 he moved his headquarters from California to Utah. In recognition of his achievements, Danny was named Utah’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2000. From one man filling orders in a cramped corner of the Flower Market, to over 500 employees spread over 470,000 square feet of business space in three countries, Danny’s dream has become an undeniable reality.

to the Environment

Temkin is dedicated to maintaining a healthy environment for the benefit of future generations. Our commitment to environmental sustainability is evident in our selection of raw materials, product development, and manufacturing practices.

Our 100% recyclable films help Temkin meet the packaging needs of today while preserving our natural resources for tomorrow. Digital in-house ink mixing enables us to recycle excess ink into viable color options, substantially reducing surpluses, storage costs, and waste.

All water used during production is treated on-site before disposal, removing all chemicals and metals so only pure, clean water is returned to the environment. The air we take in is also purified and returned to the environment cleaner than when it entered our facility. Thanks to our recyclable films, scrap material acquired during manufacturing is recycled. Our domestic manufacturing facilities help reduce carbon emissions by eliminating the need for overseas shipping.

We focus on the impact of our products over their entire life cycle, from design and manufacturing to consumer use and disposal. We will continue to exercise our responsibility to contribute to maintaining a healthy environment for our customers, employees, and communities.
